10.30am – Morning Worship

With a contemporary, family feel, we gather to learn from God’s Word and to spend time as a church family together. Children’s activities take place during this service for those aged 3-16, with a crèche for under 3s.

During most Sunday morning services the children aged 3-16 leave for their own fun-filled Bible groups part way through. These activities are run by helpers who are CRB checked. We also have a crèche for the under 3s.

The service, which typically lasts about 1.5 hours, will normally consist of singing lead by the worship band, Bible reading(s), some prayers and a talk. We partake in communion (non alcoholic wine) on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month.

After the morning service there is usually a chance for tea, coffee or a soft drink, served in community hall opposite the Sanctuary entrance. It’s a great chance to catch up with others and to find out more about church life at Amesbury Baptist.
